The easiest part of teaching writing to young children is by continually reading to them. Have discussions about what you are reading together. Let them business try to figure out what it is the author does to make his or her story compelling. Pick one of your childs favorite stories and make a game of picking out punctuation marks, proper nouns or multi-syllable words.
